The problem it solves
Service businesses — salons, clinics, home services, professional services — spend significant time handling repetitive inbound questions: pricing, availability, booking requests, intake forms. This work interrupts operators, delays responses, and creates inconsistent customer experiences.
At the same time, most AI chat tools are too generic. They answer vague questions but do not know your services, your rules, or your team workflow. They do not capture leads, do not route to the right person, and do not keep an operational record of what was asked.
AI Receptionist is a purpose-built inbound engine: it knows your business, follows your rules, captures leads reliably, and hands off to your team when human attention is needed.
How it works

- 2AI reads the message, checks your knowledge base, and respondsThe AI answers from your configured knowledge base. It does not invent facts. If the answer is not in the KB, it asks a follow-up or routes to handoff.
- 3Lead is created if intent is confirmedWhen the AI determines a genuine request — appointment, service inquiry, callback — it creates a lead record with contact details and captured data.
- 4Your team reviews in the operator inboxAll conversations appear in a clean inbox. Operators can review AI replies, confirm leads, respond directly, and mark handoffs.
- 5Handoff when neededUrgent, sensitive, or uncertain cases are immediately flagged for human review. The AI does not try to handle what it should not.

Honest limitations
- –Voice AI (live phone AI) is in development and not yet available. It will be offered as an optional add-on when ready.
- –Messenger channels (WhatsApp, Telegram, Instagram) are planned and not yet connected.
- –Stripe checkout can be started from pricing during rollout, and authenticated Stripe-linked workspaces can open Billing Portal. Setup activation remains webhook-backed.
- –Full self-serve launch readiness is not claimed. Customer setup, source review, testing, and go-live approval are still required.
- –The Availability Module requires manual calendar setup during onboarding. It suggests slots for operator confirmation — it does not auto-book or replace a full booking engine.
- –Email intake does not auto-send replies. All AI-drafted email responses require operator approval before sending.
- –This is not a CRM. It does not replace pipeline management or deals tracking.
